Fives Giustina supports horizontal double disc machine refurbishments & retools in the US

The first order, from a large automotive OEM, was for 5 HDD760 (horizontal double disc) machine upgrades that grind gears. This upgrade also included a post process gauging solution which provides better part size stability, minimized scrap parts and increased production rates.

The second order, from a Tier 1 supplier in the truck market, was for 2 HDD915 machines that grind connecting rods. This order included a full refurbishment and retool of both machines for a new application. Fives Giustina was selected for the machine upgrade thanks to our vast knowledge and service expertise on these horizontal double disc grinding machines, originally manufactured by Fives Giustina.

The Fives Giustina team worked closely with our plant in the US to ensure the customer was provided with local on-site, service support and expert technical services. We look forward to continuing our partnership and growth with our customers in the US market.
