KTR Torque-measuring ROTEX coupling - now digital and analog
The DAC connects to the MONITEX BT torque sensor via Bluetooth.
The MONITEX BT is a torque-measuring coupling hub for recording torque and speed. We have now developed a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that makes it easy to integrate the measured signals into control systems.
The DAC connects to the MONITEX BT torque sensor via Bluetooth and provides the live data as a voltage and current signal (-10V...10V, 4...20 mA) for control systems. In addition to the analogue outputs, the measuring system is characterized by the versatility with which the user can access the data in order to display, send or analyse it.
ROTEX goes digital
In addition to data transmission via DAC, the signals can also be saved and analyzed using the free MONITEX app on a mobile device and the free Windows software on a PC. As a special finesse, the torque and speed values are shown on a display on the clutch during rotation - without any additional equipment.
With the short MONITEX BT, the entire measuring technology is located in the backlash-free ROTEX-GS coupling hub - this means that the measuring coupling can be easily integrated into the drive, even where space is at a premium.
The main areas of application for the torque-measuring clutch hub are almost all areas of drive technology, including machine monitoring, test bench technology, process control and quality assurance.
